Labor Day and the End of Summer
To all of the proud locals of the Jersey Shore, residing and displaced, happy Labor Day and congratulations on the completion of another beautiful summer season! We offer our many thanks to all of our supporters from up and down the Jersey coast; thank you for helping us to continue the fight!
Of course, as the locals we are, just because summer is ending doesn't mean we'll be going anywhere, so check back every now and again. A bunch of shows and events and what not are coming up that we'll be reppin' and we'll still be operating the Asbury shop (True Jersey) through the entire winter for all our fellow locals.
Here's to a great Autumn, Halloween, and overall benny-free season time of year!

Victory in Long Branch!
Congratulations to the Marine Terrace, Ocean Terrace, Seaview Avenue alliance in their legal victory over the abuse of eminent domain along the Long Branch ocean front! The state court ruling is a major triumph over eminent domain abuse and beach privatization for not just Long Branch, but the entire Jersey Shore, and we thank the MTOTSA for all the work they have done for the entire Jersey Shore community.

The Mayor of Belmar Takes a Stand
By now most locals have heard the news from Belmar. The Mayor's July 4th newsletter to summer renters has stirred quite the commotion and has earned him a tremendous backlash. We at BGH offer our support and applause to Mayor Pringle for actually acting as a political representative should and being the first notable elected official of a key Jersey Shore tourist hotspot to so boldly stand up on the issues related to tourism which locals have been talking about for years.

BGH merch is now available at the True Jersey shop on the boardwalk in Asbury Park. And besides the BGH shirts and stickers, they have a variety of other Jersey themed clothes and other items. It's located inside Convention Hall in Asbury Park, right on the boardwalk. And there's a bar next door!
