About / The BGH crew |
|
The BGH Crew is the group of volunteers responsible for the formation, operation, and direction of the BennyGoHome organization. Though they are each natives of the Jersey Shore, their backgrounds are as diverse as their towns of origin. The recognition of the injustices which plague the regular people of the shore, and their love for it, began them on their quest to make a difference, and unite other locals behind the cause. Furthermore, as BGH functions as an egalitarian institution, whereby all participating members are equal, the names listed below are in no particular order.
Paul, born in Long Branch, joined BGH in 2006 and has risen to prominence as event coordinator and community canvasser. He helps operate numerous organizational and business events and works to grow the support base of the movement. He has a passion for off-roading, mountain biking, and mischiefmaking. He is generally known as TFP. Frank, who moved to Ocean County from his birthplace of Red Bank, is product manager and a key ideological contributer. He oversees all business related production and ordering and also helps to guide the overall direction of the organization. His passion for the shore, as well as his candid dimeanor and outlook, make him an invaluable contributer to the movement. He enjoys gaming and the great outdoors. His favorite band is The World Inferno Friendship Society. Pat, a local of Toms River all his life, operates as the marketing advisor and public relations coordinator. He is chiefly responsible for managing the organizational and business affairs of the movement. This entails event planning, business communications, public relations, and business strategies. He is an avid reader, writer, and gamer. His knowledge of graphic novels and other media is veritably unrivalled. Pete, a native of Lakewood, functions as the general director and ideologue for the organization. He is responsible for maintaining strategic direction and processes many of the daily needs of the movement. This includes organizational objectives, long-range fundamental strategies, and business development. His studies and learning have focused on increased understanding of different cultures. He has a love for music, history, art, and philosophy. Dane, born in Neptune, adds to the company with his networking and computer skills. He enjoys a good cup of coffee as well as jamming out on guitar. Ed, also born in Point, has been an active BGH supporter since 2006. Since then he has offered an immeasurable amount of time and resources to helping further the message of the movement through community outreach and word of mouth campaigning. He enjoys cooking, various combat sports, the bar scene, and reading. Justin, a Brick local, is the treasurer and helps to direct the organization both financially and as a growing movement. He is largely responsible for accounting, sponsorships, business development, and long-range financial planning. He is a musician, chef, and all around handyman. His common handle is Oz. Lastly, while the above persons have volunteered their time and resources to the advancement of the movement, their efforts would be entirely impossible if not for the commitment and support of the Jersey Shore community. Ultimately, it is they who make BennyGoHome what it is, and it is to these thousands of dedicated supporters and proud locals that the BGH Crew is infinitely grateful. |
